The difference between stainless steel ball valves and cast steel ball valves is mainly reflected in materials and manufacturing processes.
1. Materials:
Stainless steel ball valves are made of stainless steel materials, which have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and oxidation resistance; while cast steel ball valves are made of cast steel materials, which have the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure resistance.
2. Manufacturing process:
Stainless steel ball valves are usually manufactured by forging process, which has the characteristics of high strength, good sealing, and high reliability; while cast steel ball valves are manufactured by casting process, and the manufacturing process is relatively simple.
3. Scope of application:
Stainless steel ball valves are suitable for occasions with high requirements for media, such as chemical, petroleum, natural gas and other fields; while cast steel ball valves are suitable for medium and low temperature, medium and low pressure infrastructure, such as water treatment, water supply, drainage and other fields.
It should be noted that different types of ball valves need to be selected according to specific working conditions and medium characteristics when they are used.
